I loved how close the hotel was to the kid's museum just a few steps away and the San Jose Central Market, only around 800 meters from my room, making it easy to enjoy the local culture and cuisine during my weekend explorations.

Not having an obvious sign is frustrating!!! Paying $10 for a towel rental is absurd!!! Cooking facilities should be provided instead of relying on a restaurant fridge!!!

Had a lovely stay! The pool area was super peaceful and the food at the restaurant was really tasty. Just a heads up, the bathroom was a bit dated. Would I come back? Definitely!

The location is surprisingly close to the central market, which is handy, but safety is a concern, particularly at night. The locked front door is unsettling and the lack of a key policy adds to the discomfort. On a positive note, the staff displayed kindness and were helpful, particularly in arranging food delivery. Additionally, the fresh pancakes offered at breakfast were excellent and a highlight of the stay.

i've stayed in the city before, but soy local san jose really exceeded my expectations. the room was large and comfortable, and the secure parking gave me peace of mind. it's only a short stroll to the vibrant SJ market area.

the water in the bathroom took too long to warm.
